How long does it take to set up these foldable homes?
These homes can typically be set up in a few hours to a few days, depending on the model. For example, a small micro-house might take just a few hours with minimal tools, while a larger modular home could take up to five days with a small crew, as most components are pre-installed in the factory.
Foldaco’s modular houses are prefabricated living units designed for long-term residential use, offering customization and expansion possibilities. Container homes, on the other hand, are built using steel structures similar to shipping containers, providing a more compact and often mobile living solution with a focus on simplicity and durability.

All containers are delivered using international trucks. In most cases, new containers are shipped with other cargo and in some cases none. This transportation route can result in slight transport and handling damage to the product. Unfortunately, this cannot be prevented. Minor damage such as dents and scratches and slight rust may occur. Of course, you will not receive a container with large dents (deeper than 50 mm). The floor may show slight signs of use, e.g. traces of forklift tires.

Due to the special design of the demountable containers, the containers are intended to be supported in the edges. Wooden boards, floor pallets or cobblestones can be used to level the containers. To prevent the container from leaning and blocking the door, it is important that the foundation on which the container is placed in a flat platform that is even and horizontal.
Yes, all Foldaco housing units come fully assembled and ready to use upon delivery. They only require a crane for placement and can be connected to utilities like electricity and water depending on the chosen configuration.
